fluffy cookie dough latte
it has been merely a week since i began “social distancing” and the only time i have left my kitchen or apartment was to make the eight and a half hour drive back home after classes were cancelled for the rest of the semester :/
undoubtably, life has been strange lately.
the only thing keeping me feeling somewhat normal is the kitchen, and i am even grateful for the extra time i am getting to spend creating new things and getting inspiration from so many others who are creating super cool new recipes with this extra time.
this recipe was inspired by the new trend, dalgona coffee and wawas new latte (my entire source of energy for the drive). it was so good and perfect to enjoy slowly on my back porch.
FLUFFY COOKIE DOUGH LATTE
what you’ll need
for the coffee fluff
2 tbs instant coffee
anywhere for 0.5-2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs h2o
for the rest
1 tbs cookie butter
1 cup almond milk
ice
dark chocolate chips
what to do
combine coffee fluff ingredients in bowl and use electric mixer to mix until a fluff forms (i only use half a tbs of sugar because i like my coffee strong)
next, add almond milk and cookie butter to a glass and mix (can either mix by hand or with electric mixer)
add ice.
using a spoon, scoop the coffee fluff on top (you most likely will not use all of the fluff. it is super strong so i personally only used 2 spoonfuls. you can store it for later or make more lattes to share with friends)
top with chocolate chips and enjoy
