almond butter stuffed bagel bites

does anyone remember bantam bagels? those are the beeeest.

i am a big fan of bagels, and was so excited when they first came to starbucks. little, bite sized bagels full of cream cheese…. dreamy.

this is a gluten free remake with a healthier dough and filled with creamy almond butter in place of cream cheese (of course you could use cream cheese instead, i just didnt have any on hand and have a love affair with almond butter)

ALMOND BUTTER STUFFED BAGEL BITES

what you’ll need

  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup oat flour

  • 1 tbs coconut flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tsp almond butter

  • egg whites to wash

  • oats & sea salt for topping

what to do

  • combine the yogurt, flours and baking powder until a dough forms

  • split the dough in two, make a small indent in the middle of each which you will fill with almond butter

  • make a “ball” by placing one piece of dough over the other & smoothing over any openings

  • using egg whits, brush the dough to coat it

  • sprinkle oats & sea salt on top

  • place in the air fryer @ 400 for 12-15 minutes
