little changes, big effects.

creating a healthy lifestyle can feel overwhelming

with all the information out there, it’s easy to feel lost, confused and again, overwhelmed by information.

something I love to remind myself and my clients is that the little things really do add up. it’s not reasonable ( and probably not sustainable ) to make huge lifestyle changes overnight. the most effective approach is to do it slowly and sustainably by creating small goals you can work towards to improve your health.

here are some of my current favorites ;

  1. drink more water.

    1. maybe you already drink a lot - maybe you don’t drink any. hydration has SO many benefits, drink up !

  2. try a new form of movement.

    exercise is meant to be FUN. If you don’t have a form of exercise that makes you feel good, try something new. theres something out there for us all

  3. add more fiber rich foods to meals.

    the benefits of fiber are astonishing, incorporating more into your daily diet will improve digestion, lower disease risk, and make your gut happy

  4. try a new type of vegetable.

    if you don’t love veggies, you aren’t alone trying one you have never tried before (or even trying a new cooking method for ones you have already tried) might lead to a new, unexpected best friend at meal time!

  5. go to sleep a little earlier.

    sleep is beyond important for a lot of reasons. get more of it if you’re not getting enough and thank me later
