high protein french toast

what you’ll need

  • 2 slices of brioche bread

  • 2 eggs

  • 100g greek yogurt

  • 1/2 scoop protein powder ( i used pancake batter flavor )

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • sprinkle of sea salt

  • 1/2 tbs butter

  • fresh fruit

  • honey

what to do

  • in a medium sized bowl, mix the eggs, yogurt, vanilla and sea salt until smooth. then add in the protein powder and mix well

  • add the bread to the mixture and let soak for 3 - 5 minutes

  • heat a skillet over medium - low heat., then add the butter. once the butter has melted add the dipped bread and cook. be sure to flip the bread so both sides cook evenly

  • top with honey and fresh fruit.
