sesame ginger granola

ahhh homemade granola.

nothing can compare to the way this makes the house smell. its like a warm hug that engulfs the kitchen. i love it. but you’ve ever made it, you it can be tricky to get it to come out perfectly. making this granola involves patience in the form of baking it at a low temperature for an hour, stirring it every twenty minutes. but it is so worth it.

this recipe incorporates nutrient dense ingredients that contain anti inflammatory properties, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber to aid digestion and that taste incredible.

sesame ginger granola

SESAME GINGER GRANOLA

what you’ll need

  • 2c oats

  • 3tbs honey

  • 3tbs coconut oil

  • 2tbs coconut sugar

  • 2 scoops collagen

  • 1/4c brazil nuts, chopped

  • 2tbs ginger

  • 2tbs sesame seed

  • 1tbs tahini

  • 1tbs coconut flakes

  • 1tsp coconut extract

what to do

  • in a saucepan over low heat, combine the honey, coconut oil and coconut sugar. stir until the sugar has melted and slowly mix in the oats.

  • after you have mixed the oats in, begin to stir in the remaining ingredients.

  • spread the mixture out on a pan lined with parchment paper and cook at 250 for 1 hour. be sure to stir the granola every twenty minutes

  • once it is done cooking enjoy with milk, yogurt, fruits or on its own.
