happy gut smoothie
this smoothie combo has been my go to lately. it is made with ingredients that are packed with nutrients to help support healthy digestion - banana, zucchini and papaya.
banana is rich in potassium, helping to maintain a healthy blood pressure. zucchini supports healthy digestion, as well as being rich in vitamins a, c and k and rich in the nutrients manganese and folate. papaya is also a great food to incorporate into your diet to aid healthy digestion, as it contains powerful enzymes that help with the breakdown of proteins.
HAPPY GUT SMOOTHIE
what you’ll need
150g frozen banana
100g frozen zucchini
100g frozen papaya
one scoop of protein powder OR 1/2 cup egg whites
splash of almond milk
cinnamon / ginger to taste
cashew nuts & cacao nibs to top
what to do
blend all ingredients until smooth. then top with cashews and cacao nibs. enjoy :)
