kimchi pork fried rice

what better way to save leftovers than with a delicious kimchi pork fried rice!

what you’ll need

  • 160 g day old rice

  • 4 oz cooked pork chop, cut into cubes

  • 1/2c peas

  • 1 carrot

  • 1 clove garlic, smashed

  • 1/4 c sliced yellow onion

  • 1 tbs sesame oil

  • 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice

  • soy sauce to taste

  • 2 tbs kimchi

what to do

  • on medium heat, heat oil in skillet

  • add smashed garlic til fragrant, then add onion

  • after a few minutes, add peas and carrots. cook til carrots begin to soften

  • add rice, pork, spice and soy sauce. use a spatula to turn mixture frequently

  • once done, add to bowl.

  • top with kimchi.

  • yum yum
